Big Bags

FICB (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container) bags, also known as Big Bags, jumbo bags or bulk bags, are one of the most cost-effective types of packaging for storing and transporting a wide range of materials, such as chemicals, foodstuffs, metals, etc. Manufactured from tubular or flat fabric, these bags have a large storage capacity. They are custom designed according to customer requirements, offering a wide range of bags to choose from.

The range of FIBC bags we offer is as follows:

Standard bags

These include bags for construction, bags for tunnel lifting, bags with loops in the corners and cross corners, with various fastening options at the top and bottom. Designed to carry loads between 500 and 2000 kg, with a safety factor of 5:1/6:1, these bags offer better storage and transport than traditional woven sacks.

Construction bags are mainly used to store construction materials such as gravel, sand, stone, etc., and have an open top and flat bottom. Tunnel-type lift bags are an improved version of construction bags that help reduce labour costs and bag filling time. Other applications for standard bags include the storage of chemicals, food and pharmaceutical products.

The available options are as follows:

• Fabric: coated/uncoated.
• Lining: tubular/shaped.

Q bags/bags with deflectors

The design of Q bags is achieved by sewing polypropylene deflectors into the four corners of the FIBC bag. This way, when the bag is filled, the deflectors prevent the sides from bulging or collapsing during storage or transport, giving the bags a straight shape.

Q bags offer numerous advantages to customers:

• 30% more material per bag compared to standard FIBCs.
• Better use and optimisation of available storage space.
• Remains within the dimensions of the pallet when full.

Bags with deflectors are used in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

UN-certified bags

These are designed to transport dangerous goods and their use is regulated by the UN Association, commonly known as the Orange Book.

Ventilated bags

These are specially designed for storing food. The ventilated fabric allows air to flow through the fabric into the bag, preventing deterioration due to moisture and mould accumulation.

• Fabric: uncoated.
