Supply for a UNDP-funded project

That is why we wish to share some news that is particularly relevant to our international activities: we have recently been awarded a major contract to supply machining and welding equipment and tools to one of Africa’s leading vocational training centres. This project is funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
A project with both technical and training dimensions
The contract involves the supply of a comprehensive and specialised solution designed to meet various practical training needs in industrial settings. The equipment included in the contract comprises:
- CNC electric universal press brake.
- 4-roll bending machine for steel sheets measuring 3100 x 6 mm.
- Bending machines for tubes and profiles with a capacity of up to 100 mm.
- Sheet metal bending machines and shears.
- MIG-MAG, TIG and spot welding equipment.
- Plasma cutting equipment.
- Hand tools.
- Power tools, such as grinders and drills.
- Small machinery, such as bench grinders and drill presses.
- Machining tools for chip removal: drill bits, milling cutters, blades and turning inserts.
- Measuring instruments: callipers, depth gauges, micrometers, digital height gauges, gauge blocks, dial indicators and measuring and control tables.
This is a comprehensive range of equipment that will provide the centre with a broad and solid technical foundation for teaching and practical training in manufacturing processes, forming, welding, machining and dimensional control.

This project has value that goes beyond the technical aspect. When a vocational training centre is equipped with suitable, up-to-date equipment that is tailored to the real demands of industry, it creates a learning environment that is far more effective and closely linked to the market.
