Control Valves:

Control valves are valves used in pipelines to control operating conditions such as flow, pressure, temperature, and liquid level by fully or partially opening or closing in response to a process signal. Fisher, Baumann™, and POSI-SEAL™ brand control valves can be located via links on this page.

  • Rotary Valves: Find the rotary valves that fit your needs from products including butterfly, eccentric plug, full bore pipeline, and segmented ball.
  • Sanitary Valves: Sanitary valves are designed to meet the stringent demands of today’s state-of-the-art Life Science facilities.
  • Sliding Stem Valves: Sliding stem valves offer a broad range of types, sizes, and materials for demanding high-pressure steam and hydrocarbon service.

Fisher® Digital Valve Controllers:

Digital valve controllers use microprocessors and have become the dominant replacement technology for conventional and electro-pneumatic positioners since the mid 1990s. Fisher® FIELDVUE™ digital valve controllers integrate functionality far beyond the traditional analog or pneumatic positioner. The benefits of using a FIELDVUE digital valve controller include: Availability of equipment alerts to notify the user of pending issues, automated configuration, calibration and tuning , and access to advanced levels of valve assembly diagnostics. This provides consistent and predictable knowledge of valve assembly performance and condition regardless who performs the task.

Fisher® FIELDVUE Software: Fieldvue calibration software allows you to streamline maintenance activities and optimize process control operations.

FOUNDATION™ Fieldbus Communication: FIELDVUE DVC6200f fieldbus digital valve controllers are approved for non-incendive, intrinsic safety, flameproof and explosion proof applications.

HART® Communication Protocol: HART communication protocol digital valve controllers are approved for non-incendive, intrinsic safely, flameproof and explosion proof applications.

PROFIBUS PA Communication Protocol: PROFIBUS PA Communication protocol is build on Fisher’s linkage-less non-contact sensor technology.

Fisher® Field Instrumentation:

Fisher® field mounted instruments provide monitoring and control to final control devices. Transducers, controllers, volume boosters, solenoids and switches are used to monitor and control flow, temperature, pressure and level variables in the process industry.

Level Sensors, Level Switches, Level Transmitters, Liquid Level Controller – Electric, Liquid Level Controllers – Pneumatic, Pneumatic Pressure Controllers, Pneumatic Temperature Controllers, Valve Accessories.

Fisher® Positioners:

Positioners are most commonly used to move a control valve to a specified position so that a process meets specific parameters (flow, pressure, temperature). Fisher® positioners have the reputation of providing the most accurate, robust, and reliable performance in the industry.

Electro-Pneumatic Positioners: Electromechanical positioners are conventional pneumatic positioners that have an additional integrated electro-pneumatic transducer.
Pneumatic Positioners: Pneumatic positioners receive a control signal and translates that into the appropriate pneumatic output signal to the control valve actuator.

Two-Stage Centrifugal Pumps

Two-stage centrifugal pumps are used in applications where higher head is required. They ensure more reliable, high efficiency process and lower operating costs instead of serial pumping system.

Electrosteel Castings:

Ductile Iron (also known as Spheroidal Graphite Iron or Nodular Cast Iron) was invented in 1949. Ductile Iron retains the corrosion resistance of Cast Iron but has more than double the tensile strength [Cast Iron- 180 MPa (min), Ductile Iron – 420 MPa (min)]. The essential difference between Ductile and Cast Iron lies in the shape of the graphite in the microstructure of the metal. In Cast Iron, the graphite is present in plate-like flakes, which makes Cast Iron brittle. But in Ductile Iron, the shape of the graphite becomes a spheroidal nodule, which offers better mechanical properties and makes Ductile Iron sturdy, structurally stronger and shock-proof.
Ductile Iron is considered the most preferred pipe material for water supply and pressure sewerage application all over the world. It offers higher Tensile Strength than Mild Steel and retains the inherent corrosion resistance of Cast Iron. Pipes made from Ductile Cast Iron provide substantial benefits in terms of pressure bearing ability, impact resistance and capacity to sustain external static/ dynamic loading.

Protected flow:
The new protected flow system devised by the Irritec research department allows the P1 to be buried in the soil without problems caused by aspiration of mud and detritus, and reduces the risk of root intrusion to a minimum. The system works through a special “flap” design of the outlet hole. During the irrigation cycle the flap opens, allowing an even flow of water; when the cycle ends the flap returns to its resting position, closing the hole and thus blocking any entry of mud and detritus.

Integrated extrusion technology:
The flat dripper, barely 2mm thick, is welded to the wall of the hose, resulting in practically zero water loss. The filter at the entrance to the dripper, with eight flow holes, eliminates the possibility of clogging. The turbulent flow labyrinth, adapted to give an even flow rate, prevents sedimentation even at low working pressures.

The dripper is only 32 mm long and ensures pressure loss is minimised, allowing branches to be longer. The dripper filter reduces the likelihood of clogging caused by low quality water. The dripper’s turbulent flow labyrinth, specially designed to ensure uniform diffusion, gives minimal variation in flow when working pressure changes. The dripper’s flow points allow quick and easy installation without the need to check the position of the flow points, and ensure complete emptying of the hose at the end of the irrigation cycle.

The self-cleaning turbulent flow dripper prevents the formation of sediments within the labyrinth. The dripper’s inlet filter substantially reduces the risk of clogging caused by the use of low-quality water sources. The dripper’s flow points allow quick and easy installation without the need to check the position of the flow points, and ensure complete emptying of the hose at the end of the irrigation cycle.

DP Line:
The compact dripper makes this system most effective in lower-cost, flexible installations. Its small size means pressure loss is reduced to a minimum.

Geotexan, S.A. is a company dedicated to the manufacture and marketing of geosynthetics: geotextiles, geocomposites, geomembranes, related products and synthetic fibers. Located in Minas de Riotinto, village of the mining area of Huelva, the company started its activity in the middle of the year 2004, currently becoming one of the most important manufacturers of geotextiles and fibers at the national level.

Previously to the classification we must clarify the meaning of some terms used frequently for geotextiles:
NON WOVEN: The fibers that make up the geotextile are placed randomly (Do not have two directions of fiber).
WOVEN: The fibers have two directions (warp and weft).
CONTINUOUS FIBER: Non woven geotextile fibers belonging to the final product are infinite.
CUT FIBER: Belonging to the finished fibers have a certain length.
NEEDLEPUNCH: The union between the fibers of the non woven geotextile is a mechanical bond by means of needles that go in and out at high speed.
CALENDERING: The union between the fibers of the non woven geotextile is a thermal bonding where the fibers pass through two calenders.
NEEDLEPUNCH + THERMOTREATED: The union between the fibers of the non woven geotextile is a mechanical bond by means of needles that go in and out at high speed, with a subsequent thermofusing creating the continous fiber in the final product.

There are compounds formed by 2 or more geosynthetics, their funtion depending on the used geosynthetics can be.
DRAINAGE: Vertical use, slopes and plataforms, ditches and draining with and without pipe.
WATERPROOFING: Separate, filter, drainage, reinforce, protect…
REINFORCEMENT: Prevent fissures and cracks from appearing over time in the pavement of roads and other vials.

The high density (HDPE) polyethylene sheets are geomembranes with high quality resins, properly verified, that contain 97.5% polymer and a 2.5% carbon black, antioxidants and stabilizers thermal.

Geotexan manufactures different types of fibers for use in different applications while maintaining high technical performance and high levels of quality control.
