Electrosteel Castings:

Ductile Iron (also known as Spheroidal Graphite Iron or Nodular Cast Iron) was invented in 1949. Ductile Iron retains the corrosion resistance of Cast Iron but has more than double the tensile strength [Cast Iron- 180 MPa (min), Ductile Iron – 420 MPa (min)]. The essential difference between Ductile and Cast Iron lies in the shape of the graphite in the microstructure of the metal. In Cast Iron, the graphite is present in plate-like flakes, which makes Cast Iron brittle. But in Ductile Iron, the shape of the graphite becomes a spheroidal nodule, which offers better mechanical properties and makes Ductile Iron sturdy, structurally stronger and shock-proof.
Ductile Iron is considered the most preferred pipe material for water supply and pressure sewerage application all over the world. It offers higher Tensile Strength than Mild Steel and retains the inherent corrosion resistance of Cast Iron. Pipes made from Ductile Cast Iron provide substantial benefits in terms of pressure bearing ability, impact resistance and capacity to sustain external static/ dynamic loading.

Protected flow:
The new protected flow system devised by the Irritec research department allows the P1 to be buried in the soil without problems caused by aspiration of mud and detritus, and reduces the risk of root intrusion to a minimum. The system works through a special “flap” design of the outlet hole. During the irrigation cycle the flap opens, allowing an even flow of water; when the cycle ends the flap returns to its resting position, closing the hole and thus blocking any entry of mud and detritus.

Integrated extrusion technology:
The flat dripper, barely 2mm thick, is welded to the wall of the hose, resulting in practically zero water loss. The filter at the entrance to the dripper, with eight flow holes, eliminates the possibility of clogging. The turbulent flow labyrinth, adapted to give an even flow rate, prevents sedimentation even at low working pressures.

Junior:
The dripper is only 32 mm long and ensures pressure loss is minimised, allowing branches to be longer. The dripper filter reduces the likelihood of clogging caused by low quality water. The dripper’s turbulent flow labyrinth, specially designed to ensure uniform diffusion, gives minimal variation in flow when working pressure changes. The dripper’s flow points allow quick and easy installation without the need to check the position of the flow points, and ensure complete emptying of the hose at the end of the irrigation cycle.

Tandem:
The self-cleaning turbulent flow dripper prevents the formation of sediments within the labyrinth. The dripper’s inlet filter substantially reduces the risk of clogging caused by the use of low-quality water sources. The dripper’s flow points allow quick and easy installation without the need to check the position of the flow points, and ensure complete emptying of the hose at the end of the irrigation cycle.

DP Line:
The compact dripper makes this system most effective in lower-cost, flexible installations. Its small size means pressure loss is reduced to a minimum.

CALENDERING: The union between the fibers of the non woven geotextile is a thermal bonding where the fibers pass through two calenders.
NEEDLEPUNCH + THERMOTREATED: The union between the fibers of the non woven geotextile is a mechanical bond by means of needles that go in and out at high speed, with a subsequent thermofusing creating the continous fiber in the final product.

GEOCOMPOSITES:
There are compounds formed by 2 or more geosynthetics, their funtion depending on the used geosynthetics can be.
DRAINAGE: Vertical use, slopes and plataforms, ditches and draining with and without pipe.
